Queixa-Crime Online (Online Criminal Complaint – PSP/GNR)
File a criminal complaint online with the PSP or GNR without going to a police station. For crimes such as theft, fraud, damage and other semi-public crimes.
What you need before you start
- Cartão de Cidadão (Citizen Card) or Chave Móvel Digital
- Crime details (date, location, detailed description)
- Suspect identification (if possible)
- Supporting documents or evidence (photographs, invoices, etc.)
Step by step
Go to queixaselectronicas.mai.gov.pt
Authenticate with Chave Móvel Digital or Cartão de Cidadão
Select the crime type (theft, fraud, damage, violence, etc.)
Fill in the complainant's details (your personal details)
Describe the facts in detail: what, when, where and how it happened
Identify the suspect(s) if possible (name, address, characteristics)
Attach any documents or evidence you have
Submit the complaint — you receive a case number for tracking
