Get the Passe Navegante for unlimited public transport in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. Includes metro, bus, train, ferry and tram from €30/month.
What you need before you start
- Cartão de Cidadão (Citizen Card) or identification document
- Passport-style photograph (for the physical card)
- NIF (Tax Identification Number)
- IBAN or debit card for top-up
Step by step
Go to www.navegante.pt or visit a Navegante sales point
Choose the pass type: Municipal (€30/month) or Metropolitan (€40/month)
Fill in the form with your personal details
Submit or upload a photograph
The Navegante card is issued and delivered on the spot (at in-person locations)
Top up the monthly pass: online at navegante.pt, in the app, at vending machines or ATMs
To top up on your phone: use the Navegante app or MB WAY on NFC-compatible devices
The pass gives unlimited access to all operators in the chosen zone
